World Refugee Day commemorates the strength, courage and perseverance of refugees, and marks a key moment for the public to show support for families forced to flee. Come meet and celebrate the contributions of former refugees who now call Surrey home.

Join us for an evening of learning, sharing, celebration and fun!

Our event will include:

  • Delicious foods prepared by Gulberg (Pakistani cuisine), Lalibela (Ethiopian cuisine), and Tayybeh (Syrian cuisine)
  • Dance, music, and other entertainment
  • Crafts, button-making, and other activities for the whole family
  • Draw prizes (including gift cards and a family rec pass)
  • And more!
