THEME: 2018 Annual Report. In 2017, we began our fourth year of the Surrey Local Immigration Partnership. New projects were put into action as we forged ahead with the implementation of both our Refugee and Immigrant Integration Strategies. THEME: Newcomer Youth Voices on Surrey LIP. Youth-led conferences are nothing new, but newcomer-led conferences are pretty unique! Inspired by the Vancouver Foundation’s Fresh Voices initiative, the Surrey Refugee Youth Planning Team hosted their own! This newsletter highlights our experiences at this awesome event!
