Introduction to Engineering in BC Certificate Program

Langara College, Continuing Studies, offers the Introduction to Engineering in BC Certificate Program to prepare internationally trained engineers, technicians, and engineering technologists with industry specific skills to gain employment in an engineering environment, as well as, promote strong awareness of Canadian workplace culture. 

Career Development Professional Certificate 

Do you want to help people set career goals or learn how to identify trends in the labour market? Consider the Career Development Professional (CDP) certificate program.
The Canadian Standards and Guidelines for Career Development Practitioners defines Career Development as the lifelong process of managing learning, work, leisure and transitions in order to move towards a personally determined and evolving preferred future.
This 14-week full-time intensive program focuses on employment services, offering a series of courses that teach students everything from career development planning and personality testing to job search skills and report writing. Graduates of this program will
be prepared for a range of careers as an employment counsellor, career development practitioner, career resource centre coordinator, job search trainer, or a career coach. Students will also complete two workplace practicums to put the theory into practice.
