Are you a newcomer resident in BC? Get Involved!
Thursday, August 24, 2017

Are you a new resident of BC? Would you be interested in building connections within your community and health care services? Do you want to help identify what questions matter most to patients about their health and what research is really needed? Are you willing to help find questions that matter to patients and aim to improve health care?

We want to hear from you!

The BC SUPPORT Unit Fraser Centre, a partnership between Simon Fraser University and Fraser Health, provides services to support health research that is done with patients, not to patients. We call this patient-oriented research because patients are part of the research team and they have a say in which research matters to them. “Patient” refers to anyone who has experience with a health issue, including family caregivers.
