Surrey NEW: Newcomer Job and Resource Fair

Are you an unemployed or under-employed new immigrants, refugee, refugee claimants, temporary foreign worker, or international student with a work permit? The Newcomer Job and Resource Fair will feature employer booths, where employers will be accepting applications for open positions and attendees will be able to network with employees and submit resumes. The fair will also feature resource booths and information sessions on interview preparation and pathways to permanent residence in Canada for temporary foreign workers and international students.

  • Saturday, October 21, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • City Centre Library (10350 University Drive)
  • Registration required for information sessions. Register online
  • For new immigrants, refugees, refugee claimants, temporary foreign workers, and international students with work permits.
  • Language support available in Arabic, Spanish, Tagalog, Korean, Mandarin.
