Community Conversations: Finding and Using Health Research

Join us for a light dinner, informative presentations, and a talk show style conversation hosted February 27th, at SFU Surrey - SFU Surrey, Room 2740.

You will be treated to an interactive presentation on interpreting health research by Dr. Mark Battersby, philosopher, author, and expert on critical thinking. Then medical librarian Brooke Scott will share useful tips and tricks on finding reliable sources with her talk 'Dr. Google'.

The evening will be capped with the talk show style conversation with a dynamic host and three guests: a patient, a clinician, and an academic. They will explore challenges, opportunities, and tips for finding and using health research with lots of time for audience questions.
