Citizenship Ceremony at Surrey City Hall

Surrey LIP is organizing the second community Citizenship Ceremony at Surrey City Hall. This year, the ceremony will take place on June 27th which is Canada's National Multiculturalism Day. 

Forty five new citizens will be sworn at City Hall. Councillor Villeneuve, MP Randeep Sarai and Mainu Ahmed, a local resident and a founder of the Muslim Food Bank, will speak at the ceremony.

A Surrey LIP Citizenship Ceremony Community Committee and Immigrant Advisory Roundtable will host a reception with refreshments and activities to celebrate Surrey's diversity. Over 70 ESL students will attend the  ceremony and participate in City Hall Tours organized in partnership with City's Health Community Division, Parks and Recreation Department.
